License Requirements, Fees, and Examination Information:
Persons who engage in, conduct, or offer to arrange, direct, or supervise the transportation, burial, or disposal of human remains. Also includes persons who maintain an establishment for the preparation for the transportation, disposition, or care of human remains.

Fees: Application and exam fee: $800; License fee: $80; Renewal fee $80.

Examination Frequency: 6 days a week (Monday through Friday).

Exam Locations: 17 sites through out the State of California (outside vendor PSI).

Education Requirement: High School Graduate.

Average Time to Process Application: 30 days

Renewal Period: Annually
