Lassen County Profile

Primarily a mountainous region, Lassen is located on the eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Surrounding counties include Modoc to the north, Plumas to the south, and Shasta to the west. Lassen County is home to a variety of landmarks and historical attractions, including Lassen National Forest and Lassen Volcanic National Park, the site of an active volcano. The wage data has not been validated by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) and are not official BLS data series; however, EDD Labor Market Information Division feels that the additional information is useful to users of our wage data.

The QCEW program serves as a near census of monthly employment and quarterly wage information at the state and county levels and provides the most detailed industry data available. The QCEW data is usually published six months after the end of the quarter.
