Yolo County Profile
Located in northern California, Yolo is close to both the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento. Surrounding counties include Colusa to the north, Sacramento and Sutter to the east, Solano to the south, and Napa and Lake to the west. Availability of transportation is a major asset to Yolo County providing access to water, rail, and air transportation facilities, as well as an extensive roadway system, including major interstates 5 and 80. These are estimates of the number of people employed in certain occupations and the wages paid to them. The wage data has not been validated by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) and are not official BLS data series; however, EDD Labor Market Information Division feels that the additional information is useful to users of our wage data.

The Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW) program produces a comprehensive tabulation of employment and wage information for workers covered by California Unemployment Insurance laws. The QCEW program serves as a near census of monthly employment and quarterly wage information at the state and county levels and provides the most detailed industry data available. The QCEW data is usually published six months after the end of the quarter.
