Alert Info:Effective January 1, 2024, the Employment Development Department, Labor Market Information Division will be changing Open Data vendors. The new Open Data site is now available and all EDD datasets can be accessed at https://data.ca.gov/organization/california-employment-development-department. Customers who use Application Programming Interface (API) links will need to redirect these links to the new platform location as the current EDD Data Library (and its API links) will stop working after December 31, 2023. Questions regarding the Open Data transition may be sent to DataLibrary@edd.ca.gov.

The Labor Market Information Division (LMID) is the prime source of high quality and timely workforce and labor market information for the State of California. Our mission is to help our customers and stakeholders with informed decision making by providing accurate labor market data and information. We collect, analyze, and publish statistical data and reports on California's labor force, industries, occupations, employment projections, wages and other important labor market and economic data.
